Overview

The InsuredMine Connector enables you to securely connect your InsuredMine account to Claude, granting Claude access to your InsuredMine data and allowing it to provide personalized insights, ultimately helping you work more efficiently.

With the InsuredMine Connector, you can:

Get personalized AI insights based on your InsuredMine contacts, accounts, policies, deals, and other CRM data using Claude.
Visualize your data using charts and graphs generated from your InsuredMine records with Claude.
Create and update CRM records, including contacts and deals, directly from the Claude conversation. (Availability is scheduled for Phase 2.)
Log activities such as tasks, notes, and other CRM updates without leaving Claude.
Analyze customer engagement history, including emails, calls, meetings, tasks, and notes, to generate actionable insights and recommendations using Claude.
Take action faster by using Claude to retrieve information, answer questions about your CRM data, and perform supported InsuredMine actions through natural language.

The InsuredMine Connector transforms Claude into an AI-powered assistant that helps you search, analyze, and act on your CRM data, all through simple conversations.

Prerequisites

Before configuring the connection, ensure that you have:

Admin access to InsuredMine.
An active Claude account.
Access to Claude Connectors.

Note: Only InsuredMine Admin can generate connector credentials.

Configuring the InsuredMine connector with Claude

Step 1: Copy Your InsuredMine Credentials

Sign in to InsuredMine with an Admin account.
Go to Settings → Integrations.
In the AI Connector section, click View Details.

Copy the following values using the Copy icon next to each field:

Application Name
Application URL
Client ID
Client Secret

Step 2: Add a Custom Connector in Claude

Sign in to your Claude account.
Go to Customize → Connectors.

3. Click the + (Add) icon.

4. Select Add custom connector.

Step 3: Configure the Connector

In the Name field, paste the Application Name copied from InsuredMine.
In the Remote MCP Server URL field, paste the Application URL.
Expand Advanced settings.
Paste the copied values into the following fields:

1. OAuth Client ID → Client ID
2. OAuth Client Secret → Client Secret

Click Connect to complete the setup.

Before You Get Started

Please keep the following in mind when using the InsuredMine Connector with Claude:

Rate Limit: The connector supports up to 60 requests per minute across all users. If this limit is reached, wait a few moments before trying again.
Exercise Caution with AI Output: Since Claude may produce inaccurate or incomplete data, it is essential to double-check and validate all AI-generated information before finalizing CRM updates or making strategic business decisions.

Note: Currently, we are launching Phase 1, with Phase 2 scheduled for upcoming releases.

Security and Permissions

The InsuredMine Connector respects all existing user permissions.

Claude can access only the information that the authenticated user is authorized to view.

For example:

Agents can access their assigned accounts.
Users cannot access administrator-only modules.
Agency permissions remain unchanged.
Authentication is performed using secure OAuth credentials.

Can Claude hallucinate or provide inaccurate data? What can customers do to protect against that?

Yes. Like any AI assistant, Claude can occasionally generate incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information. To help ensure the responses generated using the InsuredMine Connector are accurate and reliable, we recommend the following best practices:

Keep your InsuredMine data up to date and accurate.
Review, verify, and refine Claude’s responses before taking action.
Ask Claude to reference the records or data it used to generate its response so you can easily verify the information in your InsuredMine account.
Use AI-generated responses as a productivity aid, not as the sole basis for important business decisions. Always validate critical information before relying on it.

Configuring the InsuredMine connector with ChatGPT

Paste the Application URL into the Connection field.
Under Authentication, select OAuth.

Expand Advanced OAuth Settings.
Paste the following credentials:
- Client ID into the OAuth Client ID field.
- Client Secret into the OAuth Client Secret field.
Review the requested permissions.
Select I understand and want to continue.
Click Create.

Your InsuredMine account is now connected to ChatGPT and ready to use.

Epic Activities – Create & View

Overview

The Epic Activities feature in InsuredMine allows you to log and view activity records directly from an Account 360 or Policy Detail page, with those activities synced in real time with your Epic system of record. This gives your entire team a shared, up-to-date history of every customer interaction without leaving InsuredMine

Activities can include policy changes, account additions, follow-ups, and more. Each activity is stamped with a code, description, priority, owner, and start date, and can be associated with either a Policy or an Account.

How Sync Works

Your InsuredMine account is synced to Epic, so you never have to enter activities twice. Whatever you create here shows up in Epic automatically, and anything logged in Epic appears here just the same. Look for the “Applied Epic / Synced” label on the account/ policy to confirm your sync is active.

Add a New Epic Activity

You can create a new activity directly from the Epic Activities tab. The activity will be synced to Epic automatically after it is saved.

Click Add Activity: In the top-right corner of the Epic Activities section, click the orange Add Activity button.
Select an Activity Category: From the Activity Category dropdown, choose the category that best describes the activity (e.g., policy change, account update).
Choose a Code and enter a Description: Code is required; select it from the Code dropdown. Then type a Description in the adjacent text field to give more context.
Set Priority: Choose the priority level from the Priority dropdown: Normal, High, or Low.
Assign an Owner: Select the Owner Name from the dropdown. This corresponds to the Epic user responsible for the activity.
Set Activity Status: Under the Status section, select either Open or Closed using the radio buttons.
Fill in Additional Details (optional): Optionally complete: Issuing Company, Premium Payable Type, Premium Payable Name, Amount Qualifier, Amount, and Note Content.
Complete Who To Contact: The Name field is pre-filled with the account holder. Set the Contact Via method (e.g., Email) and provide the contact Value.
Save the Activity: Click the orange Save button at the bottom of the form. The activity will appear in the list and sync to Epic.

View Epic Activities

The Epic Activities tab displays all activity records associated with the account or policy. Here is how to navigate to it.

Open an Account or Policy: Navigate to Accounts (or Policies) from the left sidebar and select the desired record.
Go to the Epic Activities tab: On the Account 360 or Policy Detail page, click the Epic Activities tab.
Review the list: The table shows activities with details including #, Code, Description, Priority, Who/Owner, Follow Up/Start Date, End Date, Association, and a View button.
View details: Click the orange View button to see the full activity details.

Overview

How Sync Works

Add a New Epic Activity

HawkSoft – Policy-Level Sync Logs Enhancement

We have introduced a new enhancement for HawkSoft users. Now, all policy-related sync logs—including files, notes, and tasks—will sync and appear under the respective Policy section. Earlier, if a file, task, or note associated with a policy was synced from InsuredMine (IM), it was logged under Client/ account Logs instead of Policy.

With this update, policy-related information is now correctly organized under the Policy section.

Use Case: This feature ensures that all policy-related items now sync directly to Policy, allowing the agent to quickly view and manage activities for the correct policy without confusion.

To view the Enhancement:

Navigate to HawkSoft AMS.

Search for the client/account that you want to view.

Under the Account, navigate to the Policy section. Under Policy Details, click on Logs.
As shown below, all the policy-related information is visible in the separate Policy section.

QuoteRush Carrier Selection Setting on Renewal Pipeline Automation

With our latest enhancement, we are eliminating the manual efforts required by agents to rate policies. With QuoteRush, policies will now automatically sync to the quoting platform. Earlier, agents had to manually enter and quote policies in InsuredMine. Now, with the help of QuoteRush bot, policies will be quoted automatically, removing the need for agents to access the quoting platform and rate them manually, simplifying the process for greater efficiency.

Use Case: With QuoteRush 2 way sync feature, any agent creating a new lead.

Note:

The auto-quoting feature applies only when policies are synced via renewal automation (cron).
If a user manually syncs a policy, the auto-quoting process will not be triggered.

To View the Enhancement:

Step 1: Enable the Rater Settings:

Navigate to the Settings Module.
Within Configuration, Click on ‘Rater Settings.’

Step 2: Select the Carriers (Auto/Home)

Note : If no carriers are selected, the policy will not be submitted for auto-quoting and will follow the previous process.

Navigate to QuoteRush Carrier Settings within the settings configuration menu.
Select the Auto & Home Carrier options.
Click Save.

Step 3: Set Conditions within the Renewal Pipeline Settings

Navigate to Pipeline Settings> Renewal Pipeline.
Set the condition to “Yes” if you want to sync policies with raters.
Set the number of days prior to sync before creating a renewal card.
Policies expiring within the specified days will be synced to the quoting platform.

Note : This sync action runs daily at 4 PM as part of the scheduled cron job. The system will automatically pick up expiring policies and sync them to the quoting platforms. Additionally, when a renewal card is created, it will retrieve the dates from QuoteRush and attach them to the deal card so only the part where the user has to rate it manually will be automated.

QuoteRush View:

Earlier, when policies were quoted manually, they were only displayed on the homepage. Now, once quotes are submitted for Auto-Quoting, they will be visible on both the QuoteRush homepage and the Bot Queue as shown in the image below:

Deal Card Getting Created within IM:

Navigate to the Pipeline Module.
Select the Deal Card.

Within the Deal Card details view, scroll down to the bottom until you find the Rater Quotes option.
Next, click on the ‘View QuoteRush Quote.’

You will be able to view all the auto-synced quotes within IM, as shown in the image above.

Canopy Connect 2 Way Sync

The Canopy Connect 2-Way Sync feature allows real-time data exchange between InsuredMine and Canopy Connect. Policy, quote, and client information remain consistent and up to date across both platforms, helping agents work more efficiently while reducing manual data entry.

Use Case: The Canopy Connect 2-Way Sync feature automatically transfers lead details from Canopy Connect to InsuredMine, eliminating the need for manual entry. This automation helps agents save time, minimize errors, and improve overall workflow efficiency.

Note: This integration setup can only be performed by an Admin. To establish it, you must have a Canopy Connect plan that supports integration (Agency Plus, Complete, or Pro) and an active InsuredMine account.

Now, InsuredMine automatically creates a form for the agency when it connects to Canopy Connect.Therefore, it is mandatory for all agencies to disconnect and reconnect to Canopy Connect. Only after doing so will InsuredMine create the Canopy Connect Form under the Form List.

Additionally, agents must enable Form Automation — this step is also mandatory.

Steps to Follow

Enable Form Automation via More Actions in the Form List.

2.Enable Create Deal Card, enter the required details, and click Save.

Note: Form Automation must be enabled to allow the creation of Accounts, Contacts, and Deal Cards.

Now,

3.Log in to the Canopy Connect platform with your credentials.

4.From the left navigation menu, click Submissions.

5.Select a lead, then go to More Actions and choose Open Submission Page.

6.You will be redirected to the lead’s information page.

7.Scroll down and click Send to InsuredMine.

8. A success message will appear confirming that the information has been sent to InsuredMine.

9. At the same time, the lead information will open in a new tab within the form.

You can verify the information by matching the Pull ID from the Canopy Connect platform URL with the Pull ID in the InsuredMine form.

Scroll down to view the files pulled from Canopy Connect, along with the file names added to the form.

When you open the Deal Card, you will see that the Account has been created.

Clicking the account name opens the Account360 page, where you can view the associated Contact and Deal Card by selecting the respective tabs.

Note: Attachments are available in the Files section of Account360, Contact360, and the associated Deal Card. Users can view the file name and Created On date, and click the file name to open the attachment.

You can also view the form under ‘View Responses’ in the Canopy Connect Form within the Forms module.

Note: If an agent later disconnects from Canopy Connect, the responses and deal cards will still appear under the existing Canopy Connect form.

Upon reconnecting, InsuredMine will not create a duplicate form; instead, it will map to the same Canopy Connect Form where the previous responses and deal cards were recorded.

LSV – Incoming call log mapping for same number accounts

We have introduced a new enhancement under LightSpeed that improves visibility and tracking of customer calls. With this update, the agent who received the customer’s call will now be automatically mapped in the Call Log section.
This ensures better accountability, faster issue resolution, and a clear record of agent-customer interactions.
Use Case: The Call Log will now automatically display the agent who received the call, making it easy for supervisors and managers to identify which agent interacted with the customer. This enhancement improves tracking of conversations, follow-ups, and overall performance monitoring.

To View the Enhancement:

Navigate to the Settings
Click on Integrations

When any client calls on a number assigned to multiple agents (for example, Agents with IDs 101 and 102), the call will ring for both agents.

Now, a call comes in to both agents with IDs 101 and 102

Agent with ID 101 receives the call

To verify this:

Click on the Call Log to view the Call History.
The name of the agent who addressed the call will be mapped in the call history, along with details such as date, time, direction, duration, and status.

Xanatek – Claims in Policy details

We have introduced a new enhancement in the Policies module. Under each policy detail, a Claims section has been added, which displays data integrated from Xanatek.

Use Case: This enhancement allows users to view all associated claims directly within each policy detail, improving accessibility and context.

It streamlines workflows by integrating Xanatek claim data into the Policies module.

To View the Enhancement:

Navigate to the Policies module.
Under Policies select any Policy.
Click on Claims.

Here, you can see the claims information

Claims data originating from Xanatek is now being integrated and displayed within InsuredMine, ensuring seamless access to relevant information.

IM -> Epic Sync Attachments (Epic)

We’ve introduced a new enhancement in the Add File section of Policy, Account360 and Contact360. Now, any file uploaded after the account is synced will automatically sync with Applied Epic.

While folders can be uploaded, they will appear as separate files in Applied Epic rather than as a single folder.

Note: Files uploaded before the account was synced will not sync automatically and will need to be synced manually.

To View the Enhancement:

Navigate to any Policies/Account/Contact module.
Open a Policy/Account/Contact.

File sync with Accounts/Contacts

Open an Account in the Account360 view and navigate to the Files section.

Note: File is synced automatically as there is no option to manual sync.

You can also view the synced file directly in Applied Epic

You can also use the Download from Epic option to fetch all files uploaded to Applied Epic for this account.

Note: All files from last 2 years will be accessible within InsuredMine once you click on Download from Epic for that particular account.

Here, you can see the files downloaded from Applied Epic

When you add a file to a policy in Applied EPIC, it will automatically appear in InsuredMine, linked to the corresponding policy number

You can also view the same file associated with the policy number in InsuredMine under Account360, Contact360, and within the Policy section.

An Activity (Meeting) is created under Meetings with Title as Activity: New File Added and under note you can see the attached file name.

Note: This will work for any file uploaded in Account360, Contact360, Dealcard, Notes and Tasks.

Default activity code will be shown as mentioned in the InsuredMine-
InsuredMine->Settings->Configuration->Auto/Manual Sync

Note: 1. Attachment will be synced Auto/Manual on what settings have been chosen on the IM under Auto/manual sync option shown above.
2.The code for default activities will be derived from the Auto/Manual Sync settings.
The sync option (always Auto for default activity), status, and code are defined in this section. The same code configured in InsuredMine will be displayed accordingly in Epic as well.

QuoteRush 2 Way Sync

QuoteRush 2-Way Sync enables seamless data exchange between InsuredMine and QuoteRush, ensuring real-time synchronization of policy, quote, and client information. This ensures that data stays consistent and current across both platforms—boosting agent efficiency and reducing manual entry.

Use Case: With the QuoteRush 2-Way Sync feature, agents no longer need to manually enter lead details into InsuredMine when they’ve already been created in QuoteRush. This automation saves time, reduces errors, and enhances overall workflow efficiency.

Note: This feature is only active when enabled in the Rater Settings within InsuredMine.

Sync Frequency: Any updates to existing leads in QuoteRush are automatically reflected in InsuredMine through a cron job that runs every 5-7 minutes.

How to Set Up and Use the 2-Way Sync ?

First, go to Settings > Integrations and select Connect QuoteRush.

Step 1: Enable Rater Settings in InsuredMine

Go to the Settings module in InsuredMine.
Under Configuration, click on Rater Settings.
Enable QuoteRush 2-Way Sync.
Select the Combined Auto and Home Form in which you would like to sync the data.

5.Click on Save.

A success message will appear in the top-right corner, and the form name will be displayed under QuoteRush 2-Way Sync.

Step 2: Create a Lead in QuoteRush

Log in to the QuoteRush Portal.
Navigate to Home, then click on New Lead.

3. In the popup, select either Home or Auto as the lead type, and click Next.

4. Fill in the required fields with appropriate information and click Submit.

5. Open the newly created lead and click Edit.

6. Complete the required fields with the relevant details and then select Submit.

Note: Click Save Lead to trigger a confirmation popup. Click OK to complete the update.

Step 3: Verify in InsuredMine

Navigate to the Forms module in InsuredMine.
Open the selected form and check the latest response.

You’ll see that the lead created in QuoteRush is automatically reflected in InsuredMine.

Automation Tip: If Form Automation is enabled in InsuredMine, a Deal Card, Accounts and Contacts will be automatically created. The agent will be able to view quotes under the Intake Form within the Deal Card.

Note: Any new lead—whether Home, Auto, or Combined—will appear under the Combined Form selected in the Rater Settings.

Account Sync Changes – (AMS360 Users)

To prevent duplicates in InsuredMine, if you now try syncing an different account with the same name or contact, the system will check for existing data. If a match is found, a popup will display the names in use. Choosing “Sync with AMS” will merge the selected contact and account with the existing one, creating a new account and archiving the old one while merging related activities into the master account.

Use Case: Prevent duplicates by merging newly added contact or accounts with the older one

To View the Enhancement:

Click on the ‘Sync’ option for the newly added contact.

A Panel will appear to allow syncing with your AMS.
InsuredMine will search for duplicate data, if any, such as names or contacts and showcase them.

If you select any particular contact and chose to Sync with AMS.

The contact will be then synced to AMS successfully.

The selected contact will then be merged with the existing account, creating a new account and archiving the older one. Additionally, all related activities from the old account will be consolidated into the master account.”
