Overview

We have introduced separate Tasks and Notes tabs in Account360. This enhancement provides better visibility into account-related activities by displaying tasks and notes associated with contacts under the account.

Use Case: This enhancement helps users easily track interactions and follow-ups for individual contacts, while shared files, policies, and deals remain accessible to all contacts associated with the account. This improves collaboration and simplifies account management.

If an account has multiple contacts, and a policy or deal is added to that account, it will be available for all the contacts. But if any task or notes is added for any contact under that account, then the task and notes will be available for that specific contact only. And the files will be available for all contacts under that account.

Attach note added to Account to policy and contact.

Overview

We have introduced an enhancement that allows users to map notes to related contacts, policies, and accounts while creating a note. When a note is associated with a linked record, the same note is automatically reflected across the mapped records. Any updates or deletion made to the note are synchronized across all associated contacts, policies, and accounts.

Use Case: This enhancement helps users maintain consistent notes across related records without creating duplicate entries. By automatically syncing notes between mapped contacts, policies, and accounts, users can ensure that all relevant information remains up to date and easily accessible from each associated record.

To view the enhancement:

For Accounts

Navigate to the account module. Select the account to go to account 360.
Go to the notes section and select Add Note.

Select policy by clicking the arrow button, and select a contact from the drop-down.
Click on Save.

For Contact

Navigate to the contact module. Click on a contact to go to Contact 360.
Go to the notes section and click on add note.
Select a policy by clicking the drop-down.
Click on Save.

For policies

Navigate to the policy module, click on a policy to go to an extended view
Go to the notes section and click on add note.
Select contacts by clicking on the drop-down.
Click on Save.

Adding notes from Account 360 and selecting a contact or policy will map the same note to that contact or policy. Similarly to this, notes added to policies will also be added to contacts, and contacts’ module notes will reflect the selected policy.

If we edit the note from the Contact, the changes will also be reflected in the mapped policy and account notes. Similarly, for notes in the account and Policies modules too.

We also have a delete option that, if used, will also remove any notes that have been mapped to contacts and policies.
