In Epic, when agencies come on board, they’re given the choice to select their primary carrier type—either ICO or PPC. Let’s take a quick look at how these details appear in InsuredMine, making it easy and personalized.

Note: For example, if an agency initially selects an issuing company but later decides to switch to the premium payable as their primary carrier, this transition is possible. However, it’s important to know that it may take some time due to backend data refresh.

• While onboarding an agency in Epic,  we give them the option to choose what they want as their primary carrier whether ICO or PPC.

• Click on the refresh button to manually sync the policy details with Insuredmine.

Now after syncing carrier details with InsuredMine, let’s understand how it appears within InsuredMine once the onboarding agency chooses its primary carrier type.

To view the enhancement:

When ICO (Issuing company) is the Primary Carrier type for an Agency:

• Navigate to the Policies module.
• Agencies that have selected the Issuing Company type as their primary carrier will be displayed upfront.

• On the policy details page, users can confirm the agency’s preference for an ‘issuing company’ carrier.

When PPC (Premium Payable Company) is the Primary Carrier type for an Agency:

• Navigate to the Policies module.
• Agencies that prefer the Premium Payable type as their primary carrier will be visible upfront.

• Click on the policy number to view policy details.

• On the policy details page, users can confirm the agency’s preference for a ‘premium payable’ carrier.

Carrier details can also be viewed from Accounts and Contacts:

From Account360

• Go to Account 360.
• Click on policy details to view agencies’ carrier details, whether Premium Payable or Issuing Company carrier details.

 From Contact 360

• Navigate to contact360 of the contact.
• Click on policy details to view agencies’ carrier details, whether premium payable or issuing company

Description: Adding a quote will automatically create a policy in the deal card.

Benefit: Creating a policy is now quicker, automated, and more efficient.

Navigation – 

• Navigate to the Pipeline module. Click on a deal card.
• Scroll down to the quotes section.
• Click on Edit.

• Select Add Quote. Click on More Options.

 

• After filling in the desired requirements, click on Submit.

• A success message will appear.

 

Note: Click the Policy not added button to add the policy. Once the policy is added, a success message will appear.

• You can view the added policy in the Existing Policies section.

Benefit: Convenience in viewing claims associated with an account.

Navigation – 

• Navigate to the account module.

• Click on an account to go to account 360.
• Navigate to the claim tab.  All the claims related to that account will be visible.

Note-  You can view the claim tab in the policies module.

Note – Additionally, a deal card can be created in the claim tab\’s action section.

In the Policy details, the new  data points getting mapped from HawkSoft to InsuredMine are HS ID, HS Policy ID, Agent 1, 2, and 3, Producers, Status, Status Date, Inception Date, Sold Date and Branch ID.

Policies by line of business charts is available under Agency Dashboard:

With this donut chart widget, you can visualize your book of business by line to understand what percentage of total business does a particular line represent.

Now you can segment your books of business by the line of business via policy count or premium amount. Click on the expand icon and then click on count or amount to preview the list or click the list or click the email icon to send a campaign to the segment.
