What is smart search?

Smart Search is the universal search option available on the top bar in your agent portal.

It comes with 3 types of searches – Policy, Contact, and Account.

InsuredMine provides additional search options for AMS360, Applied Epic, QQ Catalyst, and Hawksoft users, allowing them to perform searches using their respective AMS 360 ID, Epic ID, QQ Catalyst ID, and Hawksoft ID. However, for users of Nexsure, Nowcerts, Sagitta, Evo, and Ezlynx, no additional search options are currently available.

How to Use the Smart Search Feature in InsuredMine?

There are two methods available: the Smart Search box and the Smart Search Page.

Smart Search Box:

1. Select the search type from the dropdown before you start entering your search input.
2. Type the policy number, account name, customer name, or AMS ID you are searching for in the Smart Search box.
3. Wait for the results to appear in the dropdown menu.
4. Click on the relevant result that matches your search criteria.
5. The detailed page related to your search will open up, providing you with the desired information.

Smart Search Page:

1. To directly access the Smart Search Page, click on the search icon before entering your search query.
2. Alternatively, you can start typing your search query in the search box.
3. Click on the search icon.
4. The results will be displayed on the Smart Search Page, offering a comprehensive view of the search outcomes.

By utilizing either the Smart Search box or the Smart Search Page, users can quickly find the information they need within InsuredMine, optimizing their search experience and enhancing productivity.

Distinguishing Features: Smart Search Box vs. Smart Search Page

The distinguishing features between the Smart Search Box and Smart Search Page in InsuredMine are as follows:

Smart Search Box:

1. Enables searches by contact name, account name, policy number, and AMS ID.
2. Valid search entries include first name, last name, city, state, email address, address, phone number, account name, policy number, and AMS ID.

Smart Search Page:

1. Provides additional search options categorized by search type: contact, policy, account, and deal card.

2.Allows users to select specific fields for refined searches.

4.For accounts, the search fields encompass relevant account information.

5.For policy, the search fields offer policy information along with contact details.

6.For deal cards, specific search fields are available.

7.Contact status search is also available as an option

Permissions and restrictions related to smart search – 

InsuredMine’s smart search feature offers users the ability to control access to their agency’s book of business. With permission settings, users can limit search results to show only the contacts belonging to the agent who is conducting the search. This ensures data privacy, streamlines searches, and enhances efficiency for individual agents within the platform.

Policy Search:

• Find policies by policy number to quickly access policy details.
• Search for policies by type (auto, home, life, etc.) to review &  generate reports for specific policy types.
• Locate policies based on effective dates & expiration dates to identify new policies, upcoming renewals, or expiring policies.

Customer Search:

• Search for customers by name or contact information to access their policy details, their deal cards, or communication records.

• Locate policies that have not been renewed to implement retention strategies or identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling.

Cross-Sell Search Suggestions:

• Utilize customer data and search algorithms to provide personalized cross-sell or upsell suggestions to agents based on policyholders’ profiles and existing coverage.
• Search for customers who have recently purchased specific policies to identify potential cross-selling opportunities for related products or add-ons.
• Filter policies based on coverage limits or exclusions to suggest suitable policy upgrades or enhancements to policyholders.

Lead Search:

• Search for leads based on specific criteria such as demographic information, lead source, or lead status to prioritize sales efforts.
• Filter leads by their potential value or likelihood of conversion to focus on high-priority prospects.
• Locate leads with specific insurance needs or preferences to offer targeted products or services.

Communication Search:

• Search for specific communication records, such as emails, phone calls, or notes, to retrieve past interactions with customers or leads.
• Filter communications based on customer name, agent name, or date range to review historical conversations or follow-up on previous discussions.
• Locate communications related to specific policies, claims, or inquiries to provide accurate and timely responses.

Marketing Campaign Search:

• Search for campaigns based on campaign name, target audience, or campaign type to assess campaign performance and effectiveness.
• Filter campaigns by metrics such as response rates, conversions, or ROI to evaluate marketing efforts and allocate resources efficiently.
• Locate past campaigns with successful outcomes to replicate strategies or refine future marketing initiatives.

Referral Search:

• Search for referrals based on referral source, referral date, or referral status to track and manage referral activities.
• Filter referrals by policy or product to analyze the effectiveness of referral programs and identify referral sources with the highest conversion rates.
• Locate referrals associated with specific customers or agents to facilitate referral tracking and reward programs.

Product Search:

• Search for specific insurance products or services based on policy features, coverage options, or pricing to provide accurate information to customers or agents.

• Locate products or services based on underwriting guidelines or regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and proper policy selection.

Search option in Template section while sending email

Now a search option is provided for selecting the template that you want to send via email to any client. This feature will help you to form email faster.

To check this enhancement:

• Navigate to the add icon from the top right in the global add or navigate to contact section and click on 3 ellipses (…) under the action tab that is provided beside every contact.

• Click on Send email
• The email formation page will open.
• Click on the drop down provided in Select Template section
•  You will find search template option is provided
• Once you click there, it will open all (template folders) for you, and you can search and choose any template of your choice.

Note: Once you click the search template option by default it searches template from all templates available.
