We have added a new enhancement in the Accounts and Contacts “Do Not Contact” section that allows you to edit an email ID if it has been marked as Bounced, Unsubscribed, or Compliant. By updating and re-subscribing with a valid email ID, you can continue communication with the same contact or account seamlessly.
Use Case: If a client’s email status changes to Bounced or Unsubscribed, the agent was previously unable to use that email for communication. With this enhancement, agents can edit the email ID in the Accounts and Contacts section and re-subscribe it, ensuring continued communication without any interruptions.
To View the Enhancement:
- Navigate to Contacts
- Click on the contact to view the profile

In the profile,”Do Not Contact” a tooltip message will appear showing: “Email Unsubscribed has Bounced.”

Click on Edit

The Update Contact window will appear, where you can edit the email address.

Click on the Update Button.

A confirmation pop-up will appear; select Yes, Update.

A success pop-up message “Contact Updated” will appear, as shown below:

In Contact 360, you can view the updated email address.

Additionally, when you hover your cursor over the email, the Email Opt Out option will appear.
