We have introduced a new security enhancement to improve account protection. With this update, if you log in to the InsuredMine website using the same credentials across multiple browsers or devices, a logout session notification will appear to safeguard your account.
Use Case: Suppose an agent logs into the InsuredMine website on their desktop browser (e.g., Chrome) and then logs in again using the same credentials on another device or browser (e.g., Firefox). In this scenario, a logout notification will appear on the earlier session, and it will automatically log out after a few seconds.
This ensures that the same account is not active in multiple sessions at once, preventing conflicting updates or miscommunication if two users try to work with the same credentials.
To View the Enhancement:
Log in to your account with your Email ID and Password on any browser (e.g.,Chrome)or device.
Log in again on another browser (e.g.,Edge) or device using the same Email ID and Password.
A notification will appear in the first browser or device: “Another session started. Logged out in 6 seconds.”
The first session you logged into will be automatically logged out after 6 seconds.
