With the Profile Switcher, Admins, Managers & agents can seamlessly switch between different user profiles without the need to log out and log back in. This article explores how the Profile Switcher simplifies the navigation and access control within the InsuredMine platform. 

How does the Profile Switcher work?

The Profile Switcher is available in the top right corner of the page right next to What’s New.

Agents get to select one of the following views:

Admin View:

In the Admin view, the Admin has access to all users within the agency. They can configure settings, assign roles and permissions, generate reports, and perform other administrative tasks. The Profile Switcher allows the Admin to switch to any agent’s name, instantly switching the portal view to that specific agent’s profile.

Manager View:

Managers have a dedicated team of agents to oversee. Within the Manager view, they can access their assigned agents’ data and perform relevant tasks to support and track their team’s progress. The Profile Switcher provides Managers with the option to switch and view the platform from their individual agents’ perspectives.

Agent View: 

Agent view has access to every agent’s individual records. Agents focus on day-to-day operations, including managing contacts, policies, deals, and communication with clients in this view. They have access to their own data and can perform tasks related to their assigned responsibilities.

User Profiles in InsuredMine:

InsuredMine provides multiple user profiles, each with its own set of access rights and responsibilities. These profiles include:

Admin:

The Admin profile holds the highest level of authority within the system. Admins have extensive control over the agency portal, including user management, access permissions, customization, and overall system configuration. They can perform tasks such as setting up pipelines, configuring settings, managing goals, and generating reports. Typically, Admins have access to all users within the agency.

Manager:

The Manager profile is designed for individuals responsible for overseeing a team of agents within the agency. Managers have specific agent-level access and permissions, allowing them to monitor and support their assigned agents’ activities. They can view analytics, track goals, manage pipelines, and collaborate with agents to optimize performance. Managers can switch between the Manager role and the Agent role within the Profile Switcher.

Agent:

The Agent profile represents individual agents within the agency. Agents focus on day-to-day operations, including managing contacts, policies, deals, and communication with clients. They have access to their own data and can perform tasks related to their assigned responsibilities. If an agent is granted access to another agent, in that case, the agent can use the profile switcher to access another agent’s account.

CSR: CSR profile has access to the agency book of business but does not have the setting rights and controls of an admin. A CSR role is also shown as an agent in the profile switcher.
