As the carrier tab helps you get an overall picture of the status of your business, merging carriers within the carrier module helps you combine selected carriers into a single master carrier, simplifying data and policy management.
Use Case: Improves efficiency and organization, making it easier for admin’s to access and manage information about their clients.
First, let us check the common ways to merge carriers through the InsuredMine portal and the ways to download or save them.
To view the enhancement:
There are 2 ways to merge carriers  within the InsuredMine portal:
Option 1:
- Click on the Carriers Module.
- Choose any Carrier name that you want to merge.
- Click on the Merge option present at the top.
- A minimized window will now appear, asking you to choose a master carrier to merge all the selected carriers within.
- Choose a Master Carrier to merge all the selected carriers.
- Click on Merge.
- A notification will pop up saying: Success Carriers are merged successfully.
Option 2:
- Click on the Carriers module.
- Navigate to the three dots present on the right side of the sidebar, then select Merge Carriers from the dropdown.
- Choose a Master Carrier to merge all the selected carriers.
- Now select the carriers you want to merge with Master Carrier.
- Then, click on Merge.
- A notification will pop up saying: Success Carriers are merged successfully.
- You can also click on Download or Save as Report to view the file on your PC.
