Overview
We have introduced an enhancement in the Accounts module that allows users to configure Do Not Contact preferences while managing an account. Users can now select opt-out options for specific communication channels, helping ensure that account communication preferences are accurately maintained.
Use Case: This enhancement helps users manage customer communication preferences more effectively by marking accounts as Do Not Contact for specific channels. It supports compliance with communication preferences, prevents unwanted outreach through unsubscribed channels, and helps maintain accurate account records.
To view the enhancement:
- Navigate to Accounts.
- Click on the account to view the account details
- On the left panel, you will find the option to unsubscribe.
- Here, you will get the option do not contact , select the opt out – call option .
A success pop-up, “Call has been opted in,” appears.
You can also find the “Do not contact” data in the account table.
Note: Automation will not be triggered if a certain mode of contact is unsubscribed. However, direct email or text will still be triggered.
