What is the significance of the shared Pipeline?

The Shared Pipeline shows any new leads that have come in but have not been assigned to an agent.

What deal type gets added to the shared Pipeline ?

Deals and leads being entered via the web.

Who can add a deal to the shared Pipeline?

Any agent can add a deal in a shared pipeline.  Or you can have leads coming in from vendor or web sources populate into the shared Pipeline.

What are the limitations of the shared Pipeline?

Since it is not assigned to an agent, you cannot close a deal. However, you can perform most of the other activities.

Shared Pipeline shows any new leads that have come in through the web but have not been assigned to an agent.  You can move a deal card from the shared board to your personal Pipeline. An Admin can assign a deal card to any agent from the shared board.

You can perform most of the same activities you perform on the personal board.
